TES Family Math Night ~ Feb. 11th, 5-6pm

K-2 Family Fun with Math

There will be activities in each of the grade levels plus in the gym with the specials' teachers. You will have the opportunity to play some games with your children and walk away with activities that you can do at home.

Each student that attends with their family, has a chance to win a Math Game for themselves AND their classroom!

Kindergarten:

Counting on with dice
Number line hopping
Math boards -students will work with story problems (mostly addition) and different ways to show/represent numbers

1st Grade:

Using Addition and Subtraction to Move Along a Path
Math at Home by the Math Learning Center: Learn About Technology Games and Apps to Use at Home
2D and 3D Shapes

-iPads will be set up with direction sheets (can take this home) to play learning games. Families will learn how to navigate the website and select units and lessons within it.

***Caroline's room is open to all grades and families to learn about the tech at home!

2nd Grade:

Dice Game
Target 20
Addition war what cards

Special Area Teachers:

Please join the specials teachers in the gym for a variety of content specific math games.

Some of you may have RSVP'd to your grade level about coming the TES Family Math Night. Please do so again below so we have a whole school count. If you decide to come at the last minute- we would love to have you attend!

*Winter PE has ended, and we will resume our early release Tuesdays. We want to thank all of you that were able to come and assist our Miner Bees with their boots- that was very helpful! I think it was a great time had by all of our students- skiers, skaters, engineers, climbers and artists!
