Final week of semester & exam information

TMHS Community:

Welcome to the last week of the semester! We are so proud of all the students and all they have accomplished. I want to thank our parent community for donations to our staff raffle - we are still collecting raffle prizes. As we go into mid-term exams I want to give a couple reminders:

• PowerSchool will be turned off from Tuesday at 8 am to Friday, December 20th at 4 pm. This gives teachers time to grade final assessments and work without being interrupted. 

• Our exam schedule starts Tuesday, December 17th - it follows these 2 hour blocks: December 2024 Exam Schedule This schedule applies to all 7th - 12th grade students.  MS Students are allowed to leave during break. 

• The afternoons are available for all students for tutorial. I strongly encourage students to take advantage of this time to ask questions, meet with teachers and use space to study. Tutorial is required if a student has a D, F or U in a class until they take the exam for that class. If a student is at school they must be meeting with a teacher or working in the library. The weight room will open at 3:30. 

• If a student is leaving early for break they must schedule to take their exam in January during Winter Pe. 

When we return in January we start Winter PE! Thank you all for signing up for our activities. We will follow a 2025 Winter Pe Bell please note there is no early release for the 5 weeks of Winter PE. We will provide specific Winter PE information in January. 

We want to wish you and your family a happy holiday season; we hope your time is filled with joy. Please know our staff takes a well deserved 2 week break and teachers will not be available to respond to end of semester questions after Friday December 20th at 3:30.
