HOLD and SECURE status at TIS and TMHS - NO EMERGENCY

Good Morning,

Per our Standard Response Protocol, we have been in and out of HOLD and SECURE status this morning as we have attended to the special needs of a student.  A HOLD is implemented when we want to keep students out of common areas for a variety of reasons, such as attending to someone's medical needs, cleaning up a mess, and/or maintaining an individual's confidentiality (and dignity).  A SECURE is implemented when we want to keep all students indoors, in this case because the student was outside and we wanted to keep other students away.

All HOLDs and SECUREs are now lifted.  Please know that while we have not done HOLDs or SECUREs routinely, they are part of our normal operation and do not mean there is any crisis or emergency to be concerned about.
