Telluride School District Mission Statement

To satisfy our mission that each and every student will achieve personal success through quality education, the Telluride School District will support each and every student through quality academics while addressing individual needs within a safe and healthy community.
 

In 2024-25, this will be addressed through the following goals:

Goal 1:

Cultivate a sense of belonging through diversity, equity, and inclusion to create a community that is respectful, empathetic, and joyful.

Goal 2:

Prepare students for success in an increasingly complex world through developing solid academic foundations, critical thinking skills, collaborative capacity, and agency.

Goal 3:
Implement a multi-tiered system which supports each and every student in universal and targeted academic and social-emotional development.

Goal 4:
Implement fair and equitable behavioral expectations and responses.

Goal 5:
Implement vertically and horizontally aligned curriculum.

Goal 6:

Build the capacity of staff to achieve all of the goals above.
