Telluride Middle School and Telluride High School are proud of the
achievements of our students and staff and their willingness to commit
time and energy in pursuit of excellence. Each year our students perform
at the highest levels on Colorado Student Achievement Program (CSAP),
our state's standards-based assessment test. Beyond that, they consistently
score high on SAT/ACT exams and AP exams. More importantly, analysis
of data show our students do best in the areas of "higher level"
critical thinking, inference, and problem solving. Telluride students
balance academics with a healthy pursuit of athletic and recreational
activities.
Parents
are welcomed partners in this success effort. We have excellent
participation by parents and community members in school committees
and support for all of our activities. We invite parents to be closely
involved with our schools and what their children are being taught
each day. Parent involvement in the educational process is directly
linked to student success.
We
are committed to continued improvement, and believe our school will
continue to provide a better academic and school experience in each
of the coming years. We invite you to participate in any way you
can to work with us toward achieving student success in Telluride.
