Ginormous Puppets & Props with Jacob Devaney
A collaboration with Telluride Middle High School Theater Department

Join prop master Jacob Devaney, known for his larger-than-life puppets and elaborate characters parading through Telluride Bluegrass, Jazz and Blues & Brews Festivals, for a week-long immersion into all things puppetry. Students in this class will be tasked with creating some of the essential props for the upcoming Telluride Middle HIgh School play, "East of the Sun and West of the Moon." Creations will also be added to a new Telluride Puppet Library, where giant creations will be established for use by the community for local events for years to come.

Students are encouraged to take all five days of this workshop, but are welcome to drop in on specific days for a $40/class day fee, instead. Please note: Friday is a half day for Telluride Public Schools, so the class will run from 2-4 p.m.
